Casinos Down Again In November

Online Casino Atlantic City, New Jersey Casinos were supposed to be revived this year. Various casinos went to renovation while others were knocked over in hopes to build much better facilities.
Financial expectation has not been met for 2008 due to economic meltdown that has greatly affected the expansion plans and let existing casinos struggles.

Figures have been released in November exposing Atlantic City casinos have their revenue decline again for over seven percent from the same month a year ago.

In November, they earned 345.5 million USD and their slot revenue took a great fall for over twelve percent this year. The 228.4 million USD was largely due to the economy and helping other neighboring casinos on their expansions.

Two of the eleven casinos that had an increase in revenue were very optimistic on casino gaming future in the state; however several of these have noticed their figures dropped for this year.

Despite of the economic meltdown, casinos were able to increase their revenues. It went up for almost nine percent over last year. "We have some level of optimism from our hotel occupancy numbers" said Senior Vice President and General Manager of Caesars Atlantic City.
